Dallas Future Land Use Comp Plan

Norris Design served as the local planning and urban design firm on the national team developing the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Update for the approximately 385-square-mile City of Dallas. The plan was created as a cutting-edge, implementation-focused land use framework and easy-to-use policy reference. Building from Forward Dallas, originally adopted in 2006, the update streamlines citywide land use policy so it can more effectively inform ongoing decision-making. The planning process emphasized implementation by identifying and prioritizing strategic land use initiatives to be proactively advanced by the City, with extensive public engagement conducted during the COVID-19 health crisis.
