The Rambler

The Rambler reimagines the classic motor lodge for a new generation. Drawing from an era when travel was an experience and the motel pool rewarded road-weary guests with a place to play, the project puts recreation at the center of daily life. Its atmosphere is fun, nostalgic and renewed, with mid-century modern forms, geometric patterns and vibrant color cues creating an environment that feels approachable and designed for gathering. Norris Design’s brand strategy channels upcycling and reinvention, pairing condensed typography with expressive script lettering and bold geometric shapes. Graphics, monumentation and landscape architecture extend the motor lodge narrative into an everyday residential experience.
