This Veterans and First Responders Living Memorial honors those who protect our country, both home and abroad. Five pentagons represent the five branches of the armed services and come together to form a star, embodying the first responders who serve within our country’s borders. Shaded seating areas slope down toward the memorial’s center, and low seat walls feature spectacular views of the Santa Catalina Mountains. A shaded plaza provides space for engraved pavers, plaques, public art and memorial tributes.
