Nestled between the woods and a small lake, the Leawood Amphitheater provides the perfect atmosphere for theater and special events such as concerts, weddings, graduations, corporate and civic functions. The upper portion of the amphitheater includes a vehicular drop-off area, concessions, rest room buildings, lighting control building and V.I.P. seating. An open lawn that gently slopes to the stage provides the majority of seating, and movable chair seating is situated in front next to the stage. On the west side, ADA-accessible pathways meander through the woods. Situated along shady paths are a concessions building, restrooms and vending cart locations.
