Granite Place at Village Center is a 10-story, 300,000 sf office building in a transit-oriented development south of Denver. Several public plaza spaces with linear design elements and arching stone walls create outdoor rooms. The stone wall material is extended into the medians to create an enhanced streetscape with several 30’ evergreen trees brought in to create instant screening for the parking structure. Vines and a green screen will help soften the garage façade in the years to come. Norris Design’s 3D visualization team created several project views that enabled the city to view the design elements and their relationship to the surrounding community to help the project approval process. The Norris Design team completed the entitlement phase in a compressed timeframe to meet project deadlines and schedules.
