The heart of Frisco, Main Street was last improved in 1982. To develop a fresh identity for the Town’s primary shopping district, Norris Design provided identity and design solutions for the new streetscape. These included uniquely detailed seat walls and landscape planters, vertical icons that denote key parks and public spaces along the street, and a plaza space that will host the Town’s ice rink in the winter and a children’s play area and vendor area in the summer months. Cost estimating proceeded throughout the design process. Norris Design developed solutions for reducing the project budget with the Town Council in an interactive process that led to some adjustments in the design, including the reuse of brick pavers and phasing of some amenities.
