Norris Design helps clean up the South Platte River Corridor for World Water Day

Posted on April 1, 2022

Recently, a group from Norris Design’s Denver office joined 60 community volunteers in picking up more than 750 pounds of trash from the South Platte River Corridor. The cleanup was hosted by Protect Our Rivers in celebration of World Water Day — a day to advocate for the sustainable management of water resources.

It was a beautiful morning to be outside cleaning up the Platte. I was surprised by the people walking and biking by who thanked us for being out there. — Chris Bates, Senior Associate

Protect Our Rivers is a non-profit dedicated to protecting and preserving natural river ecosystems through active conservation and education. They organize river cleanup events in Colorado and have plans to expand regionally in 2022.
