Parks & Recreation Planning

Parks and recreation amenities are an integral part of a community’s infrastructure, culture, image and unique sense of place. Norris Design’s Park and Recreation Division provides strategic planning for parks, trails, recreation facilities and open space for public agencies, community organizations and private companies. Using a comprehensive approach, our goal is to improve the quality of life of the community in which we are working and make it a great place to play. We assess the unique needs of each community through thorough information gathering, community input and resource analysis in order to create a plan that provides prioritized recommendations that balance these needs with the resources available.
