Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado

VOC (Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado) is a nonprofit organization that helps land management agencies and conservation organizations throughout Colorado benefit from the power of volunteers. Projects focus primarily on constructing new trails, improving existing trails, planting trees, battling invasive species and restoring wildlife habitat. John Birkey is a member of the Technical Advisory Committee and has led the design and provided management of volunteer groups on the following projects since 1998:
