Home Prices Rise 9.9% in Metro Denver

Home prices in metro Denver rose 9.9 percent in February, marking the 14th straight month of year-over-year gains, according to the Standard & Poor's/Case Shiller home-price index
In January, home prices in the metro area rose 9.2 percent from January 2012; in December, home prices gained 8.5 percent over December 2011.
Nationally, the 20 cities tracked by the Case-Shiller report saw a year-over-year gain of 9.3 percent. Phoenix had the greatest gain, at 23 percent, followed by San Francisco, at 18.9 percent. The report noted that all 20 cities covered by the indexes posted year-over-year gains for at least two consecutive months.
